GE Vernova in Wilmington, NC seeks a skilled CNC Machinist capable of setting up and running CNC and conventional machines, reading complex drawings, and maintaining precise tolerances. You will manage measurement devices, records, and QA tasks while mentoring operators when needed. The role requires strong machining expertise and adherence to process instructions.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in CNC set-up and operations OR a 2-year machinist program including CNC machining.
• Minimum 2 years with basic measuring instruments and understanding of TIR/FIM.
• Minimum 2 years operating machining equipment (saws, shears, drill presses, punch presses, grinders, lathes, mills, CNC).

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools requiring high setup and operation skills.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, change notices, and method sheets for complex parts.
• Machine metals and verify tolerances using precision measuring devices.
• Maintain records, logbooks, and reports as required.
• Train operators on equipment when needed.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and process instructions.
