Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of manufacturing experience in CNC set-up or a 2-year machinist program.
• Experience with basic measuring instruments and Total Indicator Readings (TIR).
• Experience operating machining equipment (saws, shears, drill presses, CNC machines, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools requiring high skill.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, change notices and method sheets.
• Machine various metals and check work with precision gauges during machining.
• Recordkeeping and reporting as required; train operators as needed.
• Maintain tolerances and ensure quality parts within schedule.
