Job summary

Jobot is hiring a CNC Machinist in Surry, New Hampshire, to support production of ultra-precision components in a high-tech environment. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, strong CNC programming skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist in the engineering industry.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Extensive experience with CNC programming, including G Code and M Code.
• Strong knowledge of machining operations and processes, including milling, drilling, and turning.
• Proficient in using and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A technical degree or certification in machining or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring all parts are machined as per specifications.
• Interpreting complex engineering drawings into machining tasks.
• Programming CNC machines, including tool registers and offsets.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Monitoring the machine feed and speed during machining.
• Inspecting finished products for quality and specifications adherence.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
• Performing routine maintenance on machinery.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes.
