The ideal candidate will read blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions, operate CNC mills and lathes, and select tooling and speeds for efficient production. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens or similar CNC controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or machine settings as needed.
• Optimize cycle times and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring product quality standards are met.
