Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Mason, OH for a contract-to-hire role. You will program, set up and run CNC lathes and mills, using Fanuc, Tosnuc and Mazatrol controls to meet exact specifications.

You will read complex blueprints, apply GD&T, and work in a production environment that emphasizes safety, quality and ISO/AS9100 standards. This onsite position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience using G&M coding for CNC programming.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and CNC mills.
• Experience with manual machining (manual lathes and mills).
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls.
• Experience with Tosnuc controls.
• Experience with Mazatrol controls.
• Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and orthographic drawings.
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis machines is ideal.
• Comply with ISO and AS 9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Read blueprints and engineering plans to determine efficient machining processes.
• Apply GD&T to ensure parts meet tolerances.
• Use G&M coding and adjust programs for quality and efficiency.
• Operate Haas, Fanuc, Tosnuc, Mazatrol machines and manual equipment.
• Perform machining operations and inspect finished parts for conformance.
• Maintain safe operation and conduct basic preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
