Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a dependable CNC Machinist at a temperature-controlled facility in New Albany, IN. You’ll set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, interpreting blueprints and process instructions to manufacture precision parts with tight tolerances alongside an experienced team.

You’ll adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and modify G code, perform in-process inspections with gauges, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to meet tolerances.
• Experience reading blueprints and process instructions.
• Proficiency with basic shop math and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to meet tolerances.
• Select and measure raw materials for production.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets and modify G code; troubleshoot.
• Inspect products using gauges and in-process checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized facility.
• Complete documentation and support continuous improvement.
• May run two CNC machines simultaneously.
• Support Lean initiatives and a 100% safe environment.
