Job summary

Roper Pump Company is seeking a skilled machinist to operate and monitor CNC milling processes for quality parts in a fast-paced shop. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, inspecting parts with precision tools, and maintaining data accuracy across production logs.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of CNC experience, be detail oriented, and able to work in a physically demanding environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with 3-axis or 4-axis CNC mills, reading and editing CNC programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurement tools to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Gauge and maintain quality parts throughout machining process.
• Maintain quality standards for production parts according to procedures.
• Maintain accurate parts counts and data integrity by clocking in/out properly.
• Mark/tag materials and prepare paperwork for routing.
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance to cutting tools during production.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Other responsibilities as required or assigned.
