Qualifications

• Approximately 3+ years of NC/CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC setup, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Familiarity with G-code and M-code.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC and CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and job orders.
• Load CNC programs and select appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Set tool offsets and adjust feeds and speeds as needed.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain part quality.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
• Identify machining or equipment issues and make appropriate adjustments.
• Maintain setup sheets, inspection records, job travelers, and production documentation.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve machining issues.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Schedule

First Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Saturday: Typically 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Second Shift: Monday–Thursday and Friday schedule; exact shift times will be confirmed.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work around machinery, coolants, lubricants, metal shavings, and a typical manufacturing shop environment.

Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination required.
