Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of CNC/NC machining experience.
  • Strong CNC setup experience required.
  • CNC programming experience preferred.
  • 5-axis machining experience strongly preferred for senior-level candidates.
  • Experience with CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machining.
  • Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, offsets, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate advanced CNC machinery to produce precision components.
  • Program, load, verify, and modify CNC programs as required.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Determine appropriate tooling, fixtures, machining sequences, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
  • Set tool and work offsets and make program or machine adjustments.
  • Operate and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC equipment.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
  • Analyze machining problems and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor tool wear and adjust machining parameters to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Work with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
  • Document setups, inspections, production information, and process changes.
  • Support process improvements designed to improve quality, efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with safety and 5S requirements.

What You'll Do

Schedule

Schedule First Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Saturday: Typically 6:00 AM–12:00 PM Second Shift: Monday–Thursday and Friday schedule; exact shift times will be confirmed.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, coolants, lubricants, metal shavings, and other shop conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
