Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Must set up manual lathes and drills.
• Able to calculate speeds and feeds and read micrometers/dial calipers.
• Experience with CNC and manual lathe operations.
• Produce parts meeting tolerances from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and work orders; follow written/verbal instructions.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to machine sprockets, shafts, and related components.
• Perform turning, boring, threading, milling, drilling, and related operations.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with appropriate inspection tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report equipment issues.
