Job summary

Mayfran International is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, machining sprockets and shafts used in conveyor systems. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and verify tolerances to ensure quality in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Starting rate is $24.97 per hour, with a 90‑day performance increase to $25.88. Benefits start day one, including two weeks of vacation, on‑site health clinic, on‑site fitness center, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, sketches, and work orders to guide machining.
• Sets up and operates CNC and manual lathes to produce conveyor components.
• Maintains tolerances and inspects parts with measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and instructions.
• Set up lathes to machine sprockets and shafts.
• Perform turning, boring, threading, milling as required.
• Verify parts meet specifications with inspection tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5S.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely.
