Job summary

Classic Gears & Machining in Denmark, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a skilled team focused on safety, quality, productivity and cost savings. You will program, set up and run CNC machines, read blueprints, and inspect parts to ensure they meet specs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements include 3–5 years of machining experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work overtime to meet delivery deadlines.

• Must read and understand blueprints.
• Strong math, problem solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup and run a CNC Machine to manufacture parts according to customer specs.
• Study blueprints to plan most effective and efficient way to manufacture.
• Operate machine to produce consistent quality parts to specs in the time frame allowed.
• Use measuring equipment to inspect parts for quality, including 1st article inspection.
• Support problem solving small group activities.
