Qualifications

• 2–3 years of mechanic/assembly experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on CNC experience with 3-axis mills or lathes.
• Own tools and rigging skills; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with fixturing, tooling setup, and machine offsets.
• Knowledge of G-code or Mastercam preferred for minor edits.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specs to determine machining requirements.
• Mark and measure dimensions on workpieces for guidance.
• Select and align cutting tools, materials, and attachments on machines.
• Set controls to regulate machining factors or input commands into systems.
• Verify finished workpiece conformity to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, and programmers to address issues.
• Operate lathes, mills, hobs, drills and secure parts for machining.
• Ensure accurate execution of part programs and Lean principles.
