Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a CNC Machinist in Chula Vista, CA for an onsite role. You’ll read blueprints and routings, set up VMCs, and produce tooling and production parts to aerospace tolerances. The role operates Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM PST within IAM Local 755.

Onsite duties emphasize setup, operations, and tool/fixture preparation. The candidate should have a related degree or equivalent experience, and strong experience with aerospace alloys like Inconel and Titanium.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or 4+ years machining experience, or HS/GED with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Plans the sequence of progressive operations by working from blueprints, sketches and routing.
