Job summary

MOHR Talent in Coloma, MI is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to set up and operate multi-axis CNC equipment across multiple shifts. You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and inspect parts to tight tolerances while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

CNC Machinist – Multiple Shifts Available

Location: Coloma, MI 49038
Pay: $24–$30/hour + Shift Premiums

A growing precision manufacturing company in Southwest Michigan is hiring experienced CNC Machinists across multiple shifts. This is a direct-hire opportunity for machinists who are comfortable with CNC setup and operation, tight tolerances, blueprint reading, and inspecting their own work.

Available Shifts

• A4 Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• A5 Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• B Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM — 20% shift premium
• C Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM — work 36 hours and get paid for 40

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machining equipment
• Make tooling, offset, and process adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Machine parts to tight tolerances and customer specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• CNC setup and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• Working knowledge of CNC tooling and machining processes
• Experience with Swiss-style, Gantry-style, or Mill/Turn CNC equipment is a plus
• Murata or Star machine experience is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and attention to detail
