MOHR Talent is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for multiple shifts near Caledonia, MI. Operate Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes, interpret blueprints and GD&T, perform in-process inspections, and uphold strict quality standards in a precision manufacturing environment.

Choose from A-, B-, or C-Shift with a 36-hour weekend option, four-day workweeks, and direct-hire opportunities. Our modern shop supports aerospace, medical, and defense customers with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience.
• Strong hands-on CNC machining background.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong GD&T skills.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance and identify production or quality issues.
• Work with setup technicians and supervisors for adjustments or troubleshooting.
• Maintain quality standards and required production documentation.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Provide clear handoffs between shifts to keep production moving.

CNC Machinist – Multiple Shifts Available

Location:Near Caledonia, MI

We are expanding our precision machining team and are hiring multiple experienced CNC Machinists across first, second, and weekend shifts.

Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
Multiple openings

B-Shift

B-Shift
Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM–12:30 AM
Multiple openings | 10% shift premium

C-Shift – Weekend Shift

C-Shift – Weekend Shift
Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Multiple openings | 10% shift premium

The weekend schedule gives you the opportunity to work 36 hours across three days while being paid for a full 40-hour week.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes to produce precision components

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements

• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

• Monitor machine performance and identify potential production or quality issues

• Work with setup technicians and supervisors when machine adjustments or troubleshooting are needed

• Maintain quality standards and required production documentation

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

• Provide clear handoffs between shifts to keep production moving efficiently

• Citizen L20 Type 8

• Citizen L20 Type 10

• Citizen L32 Type 12

• Citizen M32

• Nakamura-Tome JX200

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience

• Strong hands-on CNC machining background

• Ability to confidently read blueprints and manufacturing specifications

• Strong GD&T skills

• Strong shop math skills

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measurement tools

• Understanding of machining processes and in-process quality checks

• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
