Job summary

Maag Gala Industries, Inc. in Eagle Rock, VA is seeking a Machining Floater for the 2nd shift to support multiple machine shop areas including CNC Mills, Lathes and EDM operations.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting up machines, and cross-training across tooling and inspection tasks to ensure parts meet print specifications. Qualified candidates will have a machining background, strong measurement skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Machining/manufacturing background related to the position.
• Education in machining fundamentals or related certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes including manual machines on the shop floor.
• Establish zero and reference points for each part to be machined.
• Understand work holding systems with manual and automated machines.
• Inspect tools and finished parts to meet print and customer requirements.
