Job summary

Maag Gala Industries, Inc. is seeking a Machining Floater – 2nd shift to support cross‑training across CNC Mills, Lathes, EDM, and inspection tasks in a busy machine shop. The role requires reading blueprints, setting up programs, and maintaining precision while supporting quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has Machinist/apprenticeship credentials or equivalent, plus experience with CNC programming and wire EDM, and is a reliable team player with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; technical skills a plus.
Machinist/Tool Maker apprenticeship card preferred.
Certificate in Machining is a plus.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints.
Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes including manual machines.
Establish zero and reference points for parts.
Understand work holding systems with manual and automated machines.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
