Job summary

USTBC ABB Installation Products Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate tooling and components in Hackettstown, NJ. You will program, set up, and run CNC machines using G-code, read drawings and GD&T, and maintain tooling with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in machining, strong measurement skills, and a commitment to 5S and safety. First shift hours 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in machining, tool room, or mold-making environment.
• Proficiency in CNC and manual machining (lathes, mills).
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair tooling with minimal supervision.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Understanding of material properties, heat treatment, and machining best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC machines to fabricate tooling and components.
• Program, set up, and run CNC machines using G-code.
• Modify and repair molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures as instructed.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy.
