Job summary

Tree Top Staffing LLC is seeking full-time CNC Machinists to work with lathes, mills and grinders in Rockford, TN. The role requires setting up and operating multiple CNC machines to meet print specifications and tolerances, and performing value-added tasks such as inspection and documentation.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of CNC machining experience, read blueprints, and be proficient with G/M code or Mazatrol.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required.
Knowledge of G&M code and/or Mazatrol programming a plus.
Must read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and gauges.
Strong math and measuring skills.
Ability to operate large overhead crane and forklift.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or grinders to produce parts per print specifications.
Perform turning, milling, grinding, drilling, boring, reaming and tapping as needed.
Operate machines and optimize production rates.
Load programs from off-line programmers or create own programs as required.
Verify dimensions with precision measuring instruments; maintain tolerance to 0.0005 inch.
Document inspection results as required.
Communicate with coworkers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Follow safety rules as prescribed by the safety program.
Perform routine daily maintenance on machines and keep the workspace clean.
