Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a CNC Operator in Piney Flats, TN. You will set up and operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and monitor processes to ensure quality. You will use precision measuring tools to verify parts and document production data.

We value attention to detail and the ability to work with decimals and fractions. You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating CNC machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to handle decimals and fractions in calculations.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes) and other automated equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Load raw materials and monitor operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues and report equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
