Job summary

Gage Bilt, a Michigan-based manufacturer of our own line of industrial riveting tools, seeks an experienced CNC lathe operator and programmer for a full-time role. You will set up, program, and run CNC lathes on short-run production with a focus on accuracy and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, strong measurement skills with calipers and micrometers, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience preferred.
• High School Graduate or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate & program CNC lathes.
• Use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges to verify parts.
• Interpret blueprints and process drawings.
• Assist with tooling, programming and setup.
• Overtime 50-55 hours weekly as needed.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating & programming CNC Lathes. Short run production.

Type: Full-Time

Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday. (2) Saturdays per month (5 hours)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently operate & program CNC lathes.
• Use standard measuring tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gages) to ensure accuracy.
• Accurately interpret blueprints and process drawings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of machining and technology.
• Assist with tooling, programming and setup.
• Work overtime (50-55 hours weekly as needed).
• Experience in machine maintenance is a plus.
