Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist in Garden Grove, California. This role is responsible for operating and programming CNC lathes to produce high-precision components. The successful candidate will possess strong machining knowledge and excellent blueprint reading skills.

The position requires at least 3 years of CNC machining experience and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with a training period on the first shift.

Qualifications

Schedule:

• Training: 1 week on 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

Position Summary:

The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for operating, programming, and troubleshooting CNC lathes to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to support continuous process improvement within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
• Perform CNC setup and make program adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective solutions
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve designs and machining efficiency
• Support and train junior machinists on best practices and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company quality and safety standards

Job Requirements:
