Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a CNC Machinist to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills to produce parts for inflatable packers, with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will own a toolbox and tools and have experience with straight and taper threads, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Shift is 1st, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekly pay and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications

• Own toolbox and tools required.
• Experience with straight/taper threads required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, or sample parts.
• Minimum 1-year certificate from college/tech school or 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathe/mill) to run first article parts and/or proof programs.
• Review blueprints and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Identify and gauge straight and taper threads (Acme/buttress for some positions).
• Measure, mark, and locate dimensions on parts; select tools and fixtures; monitor machine controls and quality.
