Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Machinist II for the second shift on the south side of Houston, TX. The role involves setting up and operating CNC Lathe/Mill machines, implementing data entry processes, and supporting software programming applications.

The position runs 4:00pm–12:30am with a $1 differential for the evening shift. Responsibilities include interpreting prints, performing in-process inspections, and collaborating with fellow machinists to address tooling issues and ensure

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as CNC Machinist or equivalent.
• Proficiency operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Understanding of CNC programming, editing and offsets.
• Ability to read prints and drawings.
• Capable of running manual and CNC equipment.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers and height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe/Mill.
• Support software programming applications and data entry systems.
• Load and unload materials for CNC machines.
• Provide technical assistance to tooling issues with other machinists.
• Ensure tasks align with production schedule.
