Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Auburn, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist (Lathe) for the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring quality and safety, while maintaining thorough records and materials validation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years on CNC lathes, GD&T knowledge, and strong attention to detail. A high school diploma is required; sign-on bonuses up to $5k for relocation and $1k for new hires are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience machining with CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of micrometers, calipers and height gauges; GD&T; cutting tool geometry; tooling and coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• US Persons only for access to controlled data; ITAR considerations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe to produce machined parts.
• Validate material used and maintain specifications.
• Troubleshoot tool wear and adjust as needed; monitor tooling condition.
• Measure finished parts with precision instruments to ensure specs.
• Document actions and communicate results across shifts; maintain records.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
