Job Description

Newell Corporation is currently hiring experienced CNC Machinists for our large CNC lathe department. Our facility, located in Arlington, WA, offers a wide variety of welding, fabricating, machining, and assembly services.

The CNC Machinist (Lathe) will:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for various tasks including drilling, grinding, and milling.
• Translate engineering drawings into production specifications.
• Ensure machine operations adhere to company guidelines.
• Monitor and adjust machines during operation to improve results.
• Perform daily checks to ensure machinery functionality.
• Maintain production and quality logs.
• Communicate logistical issues during manufacturing.
• Verify that machining results meet specifications.
• Conduct regular machine assessments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, NX, or FEATURECAM.
• Experience setting up CNC lathes for forgings, castings, and billets.
• Knowledge of selecting and monitoring tooling.
• Proficiency with measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Understanding of G & M codes.

Pay Range: $30/hr - $45/hr.
