Base pay range

$26.50/hr - $31.50/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a CNC Machinist with excellent tooling knowledge to assist our metal manufacturing customers and outside sales team. You will provide technical support, learn about cutting-edge tooling technology, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tooling Outside Sales team by serving as the primary internal contact for assistance.
• Provide quotes & enter orders for tooling and other departments as needed.
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous service to our customers, including order entry, pricing, delivery checks, and order confirmations.
• Assist with EOS processing on quoted and ordered tooling items.
• Help answer overflow tooling calls and provide backup for Inside Sales during absences.
• Coordinate with Accounting to resolve cost/price discrepancies and manage open orders.
• Participate in Tooling Sales meetings and liaise with suppliers for product updates.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of machining materials and processes, typically gained through a 2-year technical degree or certificate in machine technology, or at least 3 years of machine shop experience with tooling, CNC setup, and operation.
• Professional and tactful interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to educate customers and suggest tooling solutions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Computer literacy for order entry and communication.
