The role emphasizes hands-on skill over fixture work, with pay $25-$35 per hour and full benefits. This is a day-shift, full-time position in a busy shop that supports marine, defense, and mining projects.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large horizontal mills.
• Ability to set up large workpieces per work instructions (3-point setups).
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls (18M and 30iB).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience reading ID/OD micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate large horizontal mills and related equipment.
• Review drawings and work from them accurately.
• CNC programming and editing.
• Set up large workpieces per instructions and improve when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
