Job summary

Intercontinental Engineering – Manufacturing Corporation in Riverside, Missouri, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate large horizontal mills, set up big workpieces, and perform CNC programming with precision to follow given work instructions.

This is real machining, not fixture work, with a day shift and comprehensive benefits. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill; health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO are included.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large horizontal mills.
• Ability to read drawings and use micrometers/calipers.
• Familiar with 18M Fanuc and 30iB controls.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Performing machine operating duties on large horizontal mills and related equipment
• Reviewing drawings and working from them accurately
• CNC programming and editing
• Setting up large workpieces according to provided work instructions, and making improvements when needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Experience operating large horizontal mills and setting up large workpieces
