Mechanical Dynamics & Analysis, LLC in Marion, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The role involves setting up and operating CNC and manual machines, reading blueprints, and machining large industrial components with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have CNC lathe/mill or VTL experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment and be able to work the 2nd shift with overtime as needed. Strong measurement and quality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing complete machine setups.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of machining tolerances and shop math.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform machining operations on large industrial components.
• Operate vertical and horizontal machining equipment.
• Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and offsets.
• Complete production documentation and labor tracking.
• Conduct routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures.
