Job summary

BestLogic Staffing seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for a second-shift role in our manufacturing client’s facility. You will set up and machine large parts or weldments, read complex programs, and adjust tooling and offsets to maintain quality.

Responsibilities include inspecting components with gauges and micrometers, documenting production steps, and collaborating with teammates to meet safety and productivity standards. Four-plus years of CNC experience is required.

Qualifications

• At least four years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience setting up and machining large parts or weldments preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming fundamentals, including G-codes and M-codes.
• Ability to make offset, tool-wear, and zero-point adjustments independently.
• Proficiency with gauges, micrometers, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Relevant technical education, certification, or vocational training is a plus.
