Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience required.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• UK note: GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances on varied metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work instructions.
• Assist Engineering with fixture redesigns and tooling adjustments as needed.
• Ensure product quality by OOQ standards and using measuring equipment.
• Propose adjusted speeds and feeds for different machining needs.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safety and identify/report SH&E issues.
• Meet productivity targets and identify efficiency improvements.
• Record activities in job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
