Job summary

IMI plc in Rockford, IL is seeking a Machinist II to set up and operate CNC and conventional work centers to produce a variety of components used in pneumatic cylinder manufacturing. You will follow established procedures, work from work orders, blueprints and verbal instructions, and operate Mazak equipment.

The role is onsite in Rockford with second shift 8x10's and a 10% shift differential. Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, with overtime as required; base pay is aligned with market

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CNC machining experience or 4 years manual machining experience.
• Proficient with cutting tools and measuring instruments.
• Read and understand blueprint drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC and conventional work centers to produce parts.
• Install and adjust tooling in work centers.
• Insert CNC programs into machines.
• Inspect parts for dimensions and surface quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and adjust tooling/parameters.
