Job summary

Clayens US LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for Rockford, IL to support 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, read complex drawings, and perform in-process inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC mills and lathes preferred.
• I.T. proficiency not required; basic software skills are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and demonstrate safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) with minimal supervision.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or process issues.
• Complete work orders and maintain production and quality records.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust offsets to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to improve processes.
