Job summary

Sole Hire LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist II to set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and manual machines to produce precision pump components. The role emphasizes reading drawings, GD&T, and precise measurement with calipers and micrometers, while maintaining quality, safety, and process discipline.

You will work with senior staff to edit programs, adjust offsets, and complete paperwork and work instructions, contributing to efficiency and on-time production in a temperature-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• 4-year certified apprenticeship or 5+ years set-up/operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic math/calculation proficiency.
• Familiarity with GD&T and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual equipment with minimal supervision.
• Edit programs and adjust offsets; fabricate tooling with supervision as needed.
• Maintain accuracy with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges per drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and 5S standards.
