Job summary

Tecomet in Beverly, MA is seeking a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to operate and set up CNC machines and produce precision parts according to drawings. You will maintain quality and safety, document activity, and participate in continuous improvement while meeting productivity targets.

A strong team player with solid math and measurement skills is preferred, along with the ability to follow work instructions and safely manage tooling and fixtures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• GED/HS diploma required.
• Associate degree or certificate preferred (Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship).
• Production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances.
• Perform complex CNC machining including progressive operations.
• Change dull tooling and adjust offsets as needed.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine PM and maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain safety and GMP/GDP practices.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
