Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an experienced Machinist II-1st Shift to join its Vertical Machining team in Indianapolis. You will perform complete CNC setup, programming, and operation across milling centers, lathes, and mills to deliver precision parts.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years manual machining experience and 1-3 years CNC programming with Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Allen-Bradley, plus strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.

Formación

• 2-4 years of manual machining experience including mills, drills, and grinders.
• 1-3 years of CNC programming, operation, and setup experience with controls such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, or Allen-Bradley.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete CNC setup including programming (Fanuc Controls/G Code), editing, operation, and preventative maintenance on CNC milling centers, lathes, and mills.
• Execute off-sets, fixturing, and tool wear adjustments to maintain quality finish and dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect parts for conformance to prints, specifications, and GD&T requirements using appropriate gaging.
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring, chip removal, bushing installation, drilling, and tapping.
• Complete required manual and electronic paperwork accurately and maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures while actively participating in continuous improvement efforts.
