Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified CNC Machinist in the Repairs Division located in St. Louis, MO.

The position offers a competitive base salary with significant opportunity for incentive compensation. Responsibilities include setting up machines based on blueprints, reading gauges, and maintaining tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machine tools.
• Ability to read Vernier calipers, micrometers, indicators and gauges.
• Knowledge of shop math, metal properties and machining procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime and off shifts.

Responsibilities

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using math skills.
• Capture labor hours with in-house tracking software.
• Maintain machine tools and related equipment per schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work with Mazak, Haas, Siemens and Fanuc controls.
• Design set-ups based on blueprint requirements.
