Job summary

Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC (MD&A) is seeking a Manual Machinist for our Repairs Division in the St. Louis area. You will operate and set up lathes, mills, and grinders, fabricating precision components for power generation equipment both in our facility and on-site in the field.

The role involves travel up to 50% (domestic and international), flexible hours during peak seasons, and collaboration with a skilled team dedicated to quality, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; apprenticeship or trade school preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Experience with Bridgeport-type mills, engine lathes, VTLs, HBMs and grinders.

Responsibilities

• Determine the most efficient work procedures and tools for assigned tasks.
• Use precision measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Operate and set up lathes, mills and grinders; contribute to fieldwork during peak seasons.
• Travel up to 50% (domestic and international) and work extended hours as needed.
