Job summary

SEILER INSTRUMENT & MANUFACTURING CO INC is seeking a Machinist Level II to operate CNC mills and lathes, reading blueprints, and ensuring part quality. You will perform in-process inspection with calipers and micrometers, monitor tolerance, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years CNC experience, and familiarity with common CNC controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Okuma). This is an on-site position in St. Louis, MO with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret prints and blueprints accurately.
• Experience with CNC machining in a quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts per documentation.
• Read blueprints and verify features, dimensions, tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, indicators.
• Monitor quality during runs and escalate out-of-tolerance issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area and follow standard work.
