This position will directly assist all processes associated with CNC machining within the facility and contribute as a vital part of the production process for specialty trackwork. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with Atlantic Track. This position will support our first shift, which operates Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.**Roles and Responsibilities:**Operates CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specificationsLearns how to perform minor editing to CNC programming and learns about adjustments to speeds and feedsReads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirementsUtilizes precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges, and coordinates measuring machines to ensure accuracyPerforms setup and tooling changes on CNC equipment under supervision as neededConducts routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performanceAssists in the assembly of components and utilizes hand tools and power tools for various tasksMaintains a neat, organized, and safe work areaLoads and unloads parts on machine by craneComplete required quality documentationMaintains a positive and helpful attitude to assist other team members in the shop**Minimum Qualifications:**High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.)Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret CNC programs and blueprintsBasic mechanical knowledgeBasic shop math skills to be used for measurements and calculations related to machining tasksStrong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standardsAbility to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee**Preferred Qualifications:**Associate’s or technical degreeRailroad experienceOccupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 or 30-hour certificationForklift certificationExperience operating overhead cranesAtlantic Track offers a holistic benefits package, including competitive pay, 401k plan with company matching funds, health / dental / vision insurance options, life insurance, paid time off, an employee shared ownership plan, and more.
