Job summary

WAGNER seeks a skilled Machinist I to join the Plymouth, MN manufacturing team. You will set up and run CNC tools and automation equipment to produce quality parts while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires 4+ years of CNC experience or equivalent training, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with G‑code (EIA/ISO). forklift cert is a plus, and opportunities for cost-saving improvements exist through lean practices.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required; technical training is preferred.
2+ years of technical training or equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree.
4+ years of experience as a CNC setup and operator at a high level.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a full range of machine tools (CNC and automation) to manufacture production parts.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow housekeeping requirements.
Enter data into ERP to track work, material use, timing, inspection data and KPI information.
Meet daily/weekly/monthly production goals and follow quality inspection procedures.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and support lean manufacturing improvements.
