Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Wichita is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to set up and run automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines. You will interpret blueprints, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and maintain precise tolerances while following all safety policies in a 36-hour per week schedule.

Work Friday through Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm, with paid 40 hours for 36, and ITAR compliance requirements for U.S. persons.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and setup sheets.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates automated CNC vertical and horizontal machines.
• Accurately locates/identifies X, Y, Z axes on machines.
• Reads blueprints and specifications to determine tooling and setup.
• Uses precision tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintains machine setup, reports concerns, and follows safety procedures.
