Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Duncan, OK. The role requires setting up and operating multiple machine tools in a low-volume, high-mix job shop, with strict adherence to safety and quality standards, including ISO/TS and IRIS requirements.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years of CNC experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read complex blueprints and interpret CNC programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience in a manual/auto shop
• Basic shop math including trig and geometry
• Ability to interpret and edit CNC programs
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection identifiers
• Experience reading engineering blueprints and tool prints
• Basic rigging principles and crane/hoist safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Set up machine tool within standard route time
• Operate multiple machine tools in a high-mix environment
• Achieve productivity targets and maintain ISO/TS/IRIS/compliance
• Navigate FANUC controls and verify wear/geometry pages
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime
• Use Renishaw probing and perform simple setup tasks
• Set up and operate CMM and perform first article inspections
• Enter SPC data and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain 5S in the work cell and contribute to safety practices
