Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 3rd shift role. You will set up and operate multiple machine tools in a low volume, high mix environment, following ISO/TS/IRIS/AAR & CMMI standards.

You will train on first shift before moving to the 3rd shift and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants should have at least 5 years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and the ability to read complex blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience.
• Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred.
• Must be able to interpret and edit CNC programming.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools within standard route time.
• Operate multiple machine tools simultaneously.
• Achieve high productivity and maintain >90% product cycle time.
• Navigate FANUC controls and ensure conformance using wear/geometry pages.
• Inspect product to blueprints using gauging and perform FAI.
