Job summary

Prince Industries in the United States is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate lathes, milling machines, secondary equipment, and grinders to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and verify parts to exact specs.

We require a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of CNC experience; tolerance down to ±0.0005” and GD&T reading abilities are essential. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $23 to $27, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ CNC experience; set-up experience preferred.
• Tolerance to ±0.0005” for diameter and ±0.001” for length; GD&T reading is needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using measuring tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Secure tooling and work pieces; position and secure in fixtures or machine tables.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines and coolant systems.
