Job summary

MKS is seeking a CNC Machinist 1 in Colorado to partner with the machine shop team, engineering, QA, and technical operations. You will be responsible for productivity, quality, and meeting daily efficiencies, reporting to the machine shop supervisor.

Responsibilities include operating CNC equipment, loading and cycling parts, detecting malfunctions, producing high quality parts, and maintaining accurate documentation and workspace organization.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related experience.
• Prior machine shop experience.
• Ability to add and subtract decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment to fabricate parts.
• Load parts in machines, cycle machines, and detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged tools.
• Run production lots.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Perform inspection of machined products including documentation of results.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork for various parts.
• Produce high quality parts.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
