Job summary

MKS Inc. in Lawrence, MA is seeking a CNC Programmer 1 to partner with the Machine Shop, programming and setting up CNC equipment to fabricate precision parts. You will report to the Operations Manager.

You will develop new programs, update existing ones, ensure proper machine operations, and support CI projects, tool calibration, and flowchart creation. Minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience required.
• Machine shop experience and solid understanding of engineering mathematics.
• SolidWorks and CAM experience required; laser welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up CNC equipment to fabricate precision parts.
• Program new products and update existing programs.
• Ensure correct machine operations and adjust programs as needed.
• Support operations with CI projects, tool calibration program, and flowchart creation.
