Job summary

Tecomet in Lincoln, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, following engineering drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards. You will perform routine maintenance, change tooling, record activities, and participate in Continuous Improvement while adhering to GMP/GDP and 5S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment is preferred.
• Solid math and measurement skills.
• Ability to operate CNC machines per work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances and follow work instructions.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Meet productivity targets and identify improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
